Rode 23.6 miles, 60 sit-ups, 25 push-ups plan on walking later!

Boner stopped at a Bike Shop fixed the cable and the guy wanted me to ride a new carbon bike a Giant TCR Advanced I was a little reluctant being my limited skill (and wallet) but he assured me they have insurance. What a sweet bike so smooth, don't get me wrong still love mine but you can tell the quality. Well gives me smething to shoot for once I get really into it and show great progress, hell you have to walk before you run!

I slacked again, probably due to a little bit of fatigue buildup. All I got in was the P90X core workout and some of the male-oriented "pushup position" and "runner's stretch" based yoga (chick studios avoid the pushup position stuff like the plague, it doesn't allow for resting on the knees!).

P90X's core workout is interesting. Lots of American football practice type stuff, like mountain climbs and jumping left to right, some cobo dumbell work in all directions done in long lunge position, and lots of body-rolling-on-the-mat stuff. "Banana Rolls" are a good one. You start face down on the floor arched like a banana. Then when the coach says "Right," "Left," "Face down," or "Back" you roll onto that side keeping the same banana arch in your body. Shoulders and hips stay off of the floor.

I took the day off today and got in a nice 3 mile walk this morning. Then I went to the beach and walked some there and then plopped my butt in a beach chair and read my book. It was a good day.
