Awesome???  By doing that little bit of exercise I hurt my groin.  I didn't ride the Trike today even though I felt better because I had a lot on my plate today--issues--not food.  Rather than cutting back 10% as my brother suggested, I'm going to cut back a full 50% but try to go out and do it several times a day.  Just think of it like going to the bathroom on a regular basis.  I only say that because I have to get up to go to the bathroom frequently.  I intend to do small amounts of exercise frequently.  As to increasing the steps, I think I'll be able to add 10 to 20 steps per session per week.

As to the issues, we were just about to watch the closing ceremonies from the Olympics when my wife noticed that our cat was breathing funny with her mouth open.  She got very concerned and called the vet's office.  Since it was after normal hours, we had to take our cat to an emergency vet's office.  If it were only my cat, I would have had her put down.  But, we don't have kids, and I could see those tears welling up in my wife's eyes.  The estimated preliminary bill would be between $800-$1,2000.  It included X-rays, blood work, intravenous, and possible steroids.  We ended up leaving her there overnight and picking her up this morning.  Total bill was $927 and found that our cast has sudden onset asthma.  We just have to give her pills when it occurs.  We also had to take her to the local vet's office and they gave her some shots and charged another $64.  I love my cat, but if it weren't for my wife's income I would have been rid of her since my pension is only $1,000 per month.

Next issue was that I had to take my buddy for cancer treatment in the afternoon.  He's having a new procedure called Cyberknife.

Late in the afternoon we had "fun" getting the cat to take a pill.  And, then my wife had to go to North Jersey to take her mother to the hospital tomorrow morning for a hip replacement.

I know it doesn' t look like many things to do to most of your, but I usually don't have to do anything.  I don't react well to sudden changes in my routine.
