stuck at 295 for 2 FRACKING WEEKS!!!!
AAAAhhhrrrrrrrg! I'm starting to get pissed off. I'm 11 weeks out and have dropped about 70 pounds, and then all of a sudden I feel like I've hit a brick wall at 295. I'm doing 80+ grams of protein a day, I'm certainly not getting more than 1000 calories a day. The only thing I can think of, is I need to crank up my exercise. I'm doing an hour of swimming/weight training about three times a week, plus at least an hour of sweat-inducing yard work a week, which is about 10,000% more exercise than I was getting before surgery. BAH! I really want to get back to losing 1-2 pounds a day, LOL!

Buy new clothes. Sure fire way to drop the weight and be out of those new clothes in 2 weeks. The more you buy the faster you'll lose!!
Your body is thinking you are going into starvation mode. It will move any day now. You might want to up your protein alittle. Others have said that will help a lot.

THIS IS NORMAL. You're not doing anything wrong, and by the time you decide to do something about this stall, it will have ended on its own.
You CANNOT continue to lose 1-2 pounds a day over the long run. You're really lucky that it took you 11 weeks to hit your first serious stall. I had mine at 3 weeks.
Stay away from the scale for a while.

You're doing great....just in the dreaded post-WLS plateau which typically occurs 1-2 months post WLS. Just stick with the program and the weight loss will kick in again shortly. As others said, your body is just adapting to the lower calories and slowing down your metabolism temporarily.
Even though you may not be losing the pounds right now, you're getting healthier through the exercise and nutritional eating. These stalls are frustrating I know but don't fret.....the old formula for weight loss (calories in < calories out = weight loss) never fails over the long haul.

Hello my Wisconsin brother. You sound like you are doing great. I'm only three 1/2 weeks out a and 1000 calories seems a little high, but maybe I'm not eating enough. I average around 650 cals a day. 70 lbs in eleven weeks is awesome, but I can certainly understand how it feels to watch the weight stay static. I have finally caught up to my faulty scale that was 9 lbs off. It was really discouraging to find out I was that much more than I thought. Keep up the good work.
