Plyometrics & Intervals & Bellyfat - Intensity Goes Mainstream

Hey Guys,

Saw this article. Looks like HIIT and Plyometrics, though recommended for fitness and calorie burn were too intense to become mainstream. So what have they done? Looks like they're starting to incorporate modest amounts of plyometrics and intervals into walking:

I guess the old argument (by Nautilus founders Arthur Jones and Ellington Darden) that "there's no replacement for intensity" is showing itself again and again to be a timeless one. Give the body the same type of long slow cardio regularly and what will it do? Adapt and act as if you are not exercising much.

Best Wishes,

Dave
