Hi  I'm new to this board. Been reading a lot of your posts and getting a lot of info. I had my RnY on July 1, 2008. all went well. as I read on your posts of what to expect, I see that my post op was normal. Two months out  and down to 266 from 316 pre op.I see that you guys don't pull any punchs and tell it like it is. Ilike that. good news (for me that is)no more meds bp down suger levels normal no more needles in the gut guess it will take a while to get off the c-pap though. some thing to look foreward to. ya'll have a great day

Mornin' bebbin,
Congrats on the great start.  Good to have you with us and glad that all is going well so far.  Like you, I got rid of the BP meds right away and have now gotten rid of the CPAP as well (after several pressure adjustments and another sleep study.  Still taking some insulin, but far less than before.  Great bunch of guys here.  It's a fun ride, as you can attest.  Keep up the good work.

Hey there!

Congrats on the surgery and your success so far! I too had surgery on the 1st of July, so you and I are on the same track! (although I have a LOT more weight to lose than you)

Keep on truckin'! You are doing great!!

Glad to see you post. I got off all med's took a little while to get off cpap two adjustments then gone your neck size has a lot to do with it. So as your neck shrinks it will be gone too. I had a little problem putting it aside it was more a security blanket then anything else. Bob
