Ok, I 'm not neccesarily done with the exercise yet, but I did mow my lawn today and that was a pretty good workout.  I can tell that my arms have gotten a little weaker and it took a little out of me, but not bad.  I'm feeling good after resting.  I may still try to ride my bike for a short ride today.

OK, so I am only 3 days post op, but I did get up this morning and walk for 20 minutes on the beach.  Then, this afternoon I walked on the treadmill for 15 minutes while watching the Michigan game.  What is wrong with Michigan today?  For being 3 days post op, I feel really good.  I'm getting in about 50 oz of fluids, some protein shakes, and even tried some yogart... no bad reactions yet.

I had to skip everything because I got tied up on a technical issue. I have some DVD's that Japanese people want but that are only available in North American format. When I use normal conversation software, the video drops frames and becomes jerky and unpleasant to watch. So I decided to use a TV adapter and an analog capture device to capture from one pc to the DVD on another. I couldn't get that to work with a regular yellow video cable, only the S-Video works for that. I did get er done, but no exercise.

Will do a mtn bike and two hot yoga sessions today, though.

I've also committed to meeting a coworker in the gym at work MWF the coming week to do P90X yoga, plyo and karate. He's got the master key. Big mirrors nice DVD screen. Cool!

Have a Good Week,

Dave

I locked him up with a chick who's way too young for him. He's okay though.

Now, as for NotDave (me),

It was indeed tough to skip two days, but I made up for it yesterday. A mtn bike ride on some nice sunny trails (with much boosted cardio ability) and 3 hours of hot yoga, which also means about 30 minutes of walking since I have to use the subway.

On that 30 minute walk, etc. : City folks in Japan tend to be more healthy surprizingly, because ironically they have to walk to and from public transpo and there's no time for eating out or drinking parties with their commute. They looked at public officials who had gone to rural areas and their health had declined while those in the cities (and who had gone to cities) showed improved health.

For the first time in over twenty years I got on a bike and rode it. NOT VERY FAR but I rode it. I was very tired probably a half mile total with a short brake about 3/4 of the way thourgh it. When I got done I was beat. but It is a start.

I AM A DUMBASS I POSTED UNDER MY WIFES ACCOUNT TWICE TODAY. I NEED TO TRAIN HER TO SIGN OUT BEFORE HANDING ME THE LAPTOP.
