So after my second heart attack about a month ago I felt I needed to drop more weight. I have dropped between 12-15 pounds...hovering around 200#. We all know of diet and exercise (watch carbs, watch sugar, ect...). The one thing I have found that really helps we (and us) is resistence weights. I will just walk around the house for 20-30 minutes at a time (a lot of pollution in the air here). Put on an album and go for it. I think the times I would seem to drop the most weight during this time...using small weights. I know this is a no brainer...I have a BA in Physical Education duh? Just a reminder to all, for kick starting a workout. Maybe use small weights for an extra boost in getting the scale to move. It did for me. Brian 22 months out (RNY)
