I met with surgeon

Thought I'd check i with you guys regarding my progress.

Tuesday I met with Dr. Boorse, the surgeon, and actually signed two consent forms.  He had the feeling that insurance might not pay for my preferred procedure the VSG, so I signed consent for a VSG or a Lap Band.  I really want the VSG, so I'll fight for that.

I see the cariologist Friday morning for clearance.

My six month program ends on September 23 and the Bariatric review group meets on the 25th.  After that they send in medical necessity materials to the insurance company.  I'm not exactly sure when we schedule a tentative date.

I've been doing ok on my exercise, not as good as I plan, but better than I used to be.

Eating is screwed up.  I can't get myself back on my diet.  Now that my weight (keeping above a 35 BMI) is no longer an issue I need to get on this, and I've not been doing good with it.

I check out posts here every day, especially the jokes, but I've not been posting much.  Thanks for being there.
