The Sunday Weekly Weigh-In!
I started out at 345lbs back in February
Surgery date was at 332lbs
Now at 6mths post-op 235lbs
My ultimate like forever goal is to be down to 190 or so but my NUT's goal for me is like 220 but that's only 15lbs away and I really doubt I will look how I want to look 15lbs from now. It will probably take another 45lbs from right now to get me comfortable...and then plastic surgery? Who knows, I may not pursue plastic surgery but I want to look like some of them model mens haha.

Highest weight (5/28/08)...333
Surgery weight (8/13/08)...299
Current weight...268
Goal...175
Long way to go, but it has been amazing these past few months. I lost 34 lbs prior to surgery and now 33 in the 3 weeks since being cut. I feel good. I even downloaded NotDan's P90X workouts, though I have been chicken to start them just yet. Instead, I'm doing the Body for Life book right now.
I'm starting to reach the need new clothes stage. Pulling a lot of old stuff out of the closet. Bought, and am wearing a 40" belt because the two holes I added to the 44" one didn't look good. Old Navy recently had a big jeans sale ($7-12/pr) so I bought two pairs at 40", 2 prs at 38", and 2 prs at 36". Should be set for awhile.

I then went off the wagon. I got up to 215. Then I had my second heart attack 6 weeks ago! I have fought hard and got down to 200. Last week I was between 200 and 199. Today it is 197.5. I have fought for every 1/2 pound out there (even became a scale *****)!! I want to be between 190-180...just for my heart. Brian

Wow Brian, you are doing awesome. Hope your feeling good these days. You've made a remarkable recovery in just 6 weeks. Sounds like you'll be at your goal weight very soon.
Today for me was a FART day gents... I hit the 100 lb mark since my surgical date. Surgery was on 4/11/08. My high weight was 462. Surgery weight was 433. Weight today was, get this...
332.5 lbs.
I have lost 100.5 lbs in just under 5 months. My doc had set the 100lb goal for me at 6 months and I beat it with a stick. Total lost so far is right at 130 lbs. I got around another 100-125 lbs to go and then I'll consider my plastic options. I just hope I can sustain this rate of weight loss. I want to hit the 200lb mark for my 1 year anniversary and hopefully be at my goal weight by next fall. I've got a 25 year class reunion coming up in a few years, and I want to be at my best possible weight before then. I was always the smart fat guy in school, and for once, I'd like to walk in to the room looking like one of them there male models Lance was joking about. I'm really doing this for my own health and for my family, but I have to say, the thought of me looking good and all those high school cheerleaders having stomach pooches and saggy boobs, not to mention the jocks having pot bellies and bald heads, will make this reunion all the more worthwhile.
Thanks for always being there guys, the support you all provide is better than any visit to a $200 an hour shrink.
Have a great Sunday!!

Highest Known Weight (10/31/07): 455 lbs
Day of Surgery (11/26/07): 442 lbs - 67" waist
Yesterday (9/06/08): 265 lbs - 46" waist
Weight loss has really slowed down. I've rededicated myself to eating better. Hopefully I'll see results by the next weigh in. JF
PS. I bought my first pants since surgery yesterday. I found a couple of pair of Ralph Lauren (does that make me sound gay) dress pants on sale for $16.25 apiece yesterday. I don't know how long I'll be able to wear 42"s, I hope not to long, but I couldn't pass up a chance to buy pants that look that damned good for that cheap. Boys it feels pretty good to buy pants out of the regular men's part of the store instead of heading straight for the fatass and tall section.

The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
