Well it's been 6 months. Went from 5 and 6x shirts to 2 x. (52 waist pants to 38). Even lost a shoe size. All Blood work is Great and the energy level is out of this world. I have lost from 394 down to 277, not to bad. I have only lost 20 pounds since June 26 (That part sucks, major wall). But I know I'm getting in better shape. Still coaching my girls soccer and softball teams. And this summer I'm actually running and playing with them (Not bad after 16 knee surgeries). Well just wanted to share my farts. I look forward to breaking thru that wall soon and losing the last 57 to get to the goal I set before surgery of 220. Thanks for listening. Ken

Great job Bluedog...congrats on your success to date. Only 6 months? Amazing, isn't it? Stick with your progam and you'll be at goal before you know it.

Congrats! We're about the same distance post-op and I have 15 pounds to go before I reach my "goal" weight of 220 (ironic, eh? we have the same goal haha) but I would LOVE to get down to about 185 and stay there for the rest of my life...so that would be another 50lbs to lose which is probably possible eventually. Keep up the good work, and I'm the same with losing only 23lbs since June 1st...****** me off, but as Dx always says slow weight loss is STILL LOSS or some such, I probably butchered it.

Great job the first six months. That six month mark was a big one for me as well. As is the one year mark coming up.  The excitement dies down and it kinda becomes a grind after that, but at least the surgery has given us a chance to get our weight to a manageable level and has given us a chance to form some better eating habits. I've only lost a pound in the past 2 wks, which is kind of a wake up call that I need to do things differently. At least now we're paying attention to these types of things.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.

Thaks guys.
I also would love to get into the one's. I figured if I can hit the first goal then the rest would be the biggest fart you have ever heard coming from N.C.

Thanks, Ken
