Getting ready
Packing, and trying to get everything together to go to Oklahoma City tomorrow. Surgery Monday! Have to check in Monday morning at 8 am with surgery around 10 am. Ya'll have been so helpful and inspirational. I really have no fears right now because of this forum. I just want it to happen so I can be on my way to the healthy lifestyle I've also learned here. So, thanks to each of you and will see you on the other side. I've been eyeing my spot on that loser's bench! Michael.
Best of luck with your WLS Michael. We'll have a spot warming up for a Razerback here on the losers bench. Piggggggggggg.......Souuuuuuuuuie!!!
Boner
PS My oldest brother "the biggest boner", graduated from UofA so I can't resist the chant when I see someone from Arkansas in the locker room getting WLS. He actually lived in Ft. Smith for a number of years as President of WestArk.

Michael,
Congrats, man... Dr. Walton and all the staff at WW will take great care of you. You're gonna do great. Just be sure and get all you prescriptions filled before you start to drive back to Arkansas.
If everything works out right on Monday afternoon, I may try to buzz by and meet you in person - hopefully you'll be awake by then...Even if I dont' get by, just know that you will have a great staff caring for you, and lots of folks here at OH and elsewhere keeping you in their prayers.
We'll clear your spot on the bench for Monday afternoon!

Michael,
Good luck Monday and don't forget the Four Mantras of Life post WLS:
1. Sip, sip, sip.
2. Walk, walk, walk.
3. Any problems - CALL YOUR DOCTOR!
(...............everybody join me in saying the last one........................)
4. NEVER TRUST A FART!! You may just unintentionally "redecorate" your surroundings!
See you on the Loser's Bench!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Thanks ya'll. The light bulb was the first thing to be packed! Bob, I will be in Edmond, so a-ways from the OU Med Center. My wife used to teach at a school close to there many a year ago. Boner, didn't know Big Boner graduated from UA. When was he president of Westark? What is his name? That bench is lookin real nice. Michael
It's the Biggest Boner (Big Boner and my older brother) who's a Razerback and was president of Westark. He lived in Ft. Smith back in the early to mid-80s I believe. I went down to Fayetteville when he "gaduated" from UofA. Beautiful campus especially the football field. Piggggggg soooooooie!!
