a fart that has lasted a whole month

I posted this in the RNY forum yesterday, but these numbers are more relevant to men. It's my own boastful FART. I am 1 month out from surgery and I have been reassessing my before and afters and, after having some blood tests done yesterday morning, I've been dancing around like a giddy school girl. Maybe it will be some encouragement for folks on the fence. Here goes.

I wasn't surprised by the sugar, but the cholesterol drop floored me. I've been on lipid lowering meds in the past (zocor and lipitor) but both times have had to stop them because they seemed to bother my liver. No need now!

 That's excellent what about triglycerides and H&H? 

triglycerides are up there. huge drop.

hematocrit was good yesterday, 42. don't recall what it was prior to surgery. probably the same.

 That's great, good news all around then!
