assshhh!!!!!

hello as many of yall know im an artist... and going trough a website that i really like... came up with something very very very sad... it really pissed me off... and i tried to do something... the web site havent done anything... but i gave him/her a piece of my mind.... it was very frustrating... please take a look and tell me if am i over reacting....

I am sorta thinking that the name of the website says it all.  Everyone is entitled to their own thoughts, even deviants!!

I aggree DEVIANT says it all.  I'd ignore him, but I also understand the wish to do otherwise.

 I thought it was funny...yeah, you are being too sensitive because essentially WLS is our "easy button." Just my opinion of course. 

 I hope you're not the guy who told him that it's not art and that he's amateur. I would think as an artist you wouldn't be quick to judge. 

I looked at that piece, and I thought it was really well done. That blob represents my self image of what I felt my body was like at it's worst. Diseased, unhealthy, shapeless, and I notice that the button is just out of reach, which was my experience when it came to getting the approval for surgery. 

I didn't take the button to represent an easy way out at all. 

That button, to me, represented the answer. The blob looked as though it was made up of false attempts. 

No matter the artist's reasoning for doing this piece, I think it can speak to different people. 

I think it's your self esteem, and personal issues cloudingyour judgement, not their judgement against you.

a lot of people that call themselves artist... are not... just because they are having they 5 minutes of imagination does not mean they are artist!!! they can see the meaning of the world in an ashtray if you let them....

im a well educated artist... from a university... with real books... and grades... im a critic... not just because i can be an asshole... but because i know how to critique any  piece...  sorry.....

 Personally, I have more respect for people who choose to create, no matter what area (paint, sketch, pencil crayon, sculpture, etc) and do it because it comes to them naturally, than I have for someone *****ads books, takes a course put on someone to generate money. 

Just because you took a class, doesn't mean you are the authority on art. 

I can take a hissy fit too, but that doesn't mean that my opinion is any more important than yours.
