BM Issue
I went to my 2 week post-op follow up and my doctor has moved me to "blenderized" foods. That was Thursday and I have heard nothing from my lower colon since. Food's going down and staying down. While unpredictable, my colon was able to make something from nothing during the 2 week liquid regimen. I have no discomfort or strange feelings but this is new to me. Without being too descriptive, does this sound familiar to anyone else?
Thanx,
Jim

Magnesium may be one of the minerals that are malabsorbed, so one way to get that "Magnesia" and kill two birds with one stone is to take Magnesium supplements daily. If you want a little more controversy and some Zinc too, then take ZMA. You have to take it at bedtime though without having eaten for at least two hours, which can be difficult (though a good thing for increasing natural growth hormone release).
Constipation is a very common issue. I used stool softeners for a year, and they seemed to work OK, but recently (at 28 months) they stopped working very well. I now take a tea blend that eases consiptation. I have a cup of this tea blend each night at 10 PM. No issue in the AM, for the BM. Tea can be brewed stronger too for iced tea, and acts like a mild "body cleanser". This works well for me. DAVE
