IDGOMB - Sunday

Sunday Afternoon:

Thought I was going to rest in the morning/ afternoon but what I thought was going to be an easy stump removal took a lot of sawzall work and beating with a huge long handled sledgehammer. I sawed and beat and pried on that thing for about an hour. It reminded me that no exercise is as effective for manual labor as is lifting weights and 200 meter intervals.  P90X and yoga elevate my heartrate over a longer period, but there's nothing like the spike-rest combination of HIIT and sets of deadlifts for real labor. But then, swinging a sledgehammer with an 8-10 lb head is not exactly something you would do regularly.

Sunday Evening:

Bikram Hot Yoga 90 minutes, 104 degree room. Membership runs out this week, so making hay while the sun shines.
