Hey my friends, its good to be back with you "loosers"
Sorry I haven't written earlier - I just wasn't feeling up to it. I think it was the pain meds really messing me up (oxycodone) so I have stopped those. Very little discomfort.
I got out of the hosptial on Thursday morning 9/25/08. It was time for me to go I was getting restless and just walked the halls. My blood pressure was on the low side of normal for most of my stay. I usually am on the high side of normal.
I have been at home a few days spending my time walking, sipping water, drinking protein, and eating. I am on a puree diet per my doctor. I drink a protein drink followed by 2 oz of pureed food. The eating is tough since I have no urge to eat. I know I have to but it is hard.
I think I was eating to fast or too much because I was having a lot of problems with nausea. I now eat really slow with little tiny bites.
Bloating and gas a big issue right now. I know it will go away but I feel tight all the time. I just keeping walking. Learned the hard way not to trust a fart.
Thanks for all your care and support - I really appreciate all your input.
One more request, can anyone give me instructions how to add a signature so I can add my weight loss ticker? Please send a message with instructions.

Glad to hear you are up and around! It gets a little better every day - keep up the mantra - walk sip walk sip. Good for you!
As far as your ticker - once you have created it, copy the ticker image to your signature - to get to your signature, - while in forum, look on the left side of the page for User Setings, and there you will find your signature.

Clapton,
Welcome back buddy! Glad to hear you are doing well and feeling better. I seem to feel much better everyday that passes and I'm sure it's the same for you.
Keep us posted on how you are doing. I can't tell you how happy I am to be sitting next to you on the looser's bench!
Take care of yourself!

Welcome to the LIghter Side of Life. Those small bites are a pain but it's a bigger pain when you don't do them.
We've made room for ya on the bench. Keep walking etc. The protein helps in healing building muscle etc.
You already got the the signature from Big Daddy so I won't go into that.
Remember to keep posting

Welcome home Clapton!! Jump on in here on our locker room loser's bench! Eating slow is still a problem for me....its a hard habit to break. And chewing alot is also something I have to get used to. I am finally starting to get used to not drinking while eating. But my energy is way up and walking alot nightly. These are all things you have to look forward to...but believe me...it is really worth it!! Best of luck on your journey and keep us posted!!! John
