Biked again yesterday

Hi Guys,
I was able to get back on the bike yesterday for a good ride.  This summer I rode alot and was getting much stronger.  Once football season started my work schedule has been really crazy.  I do freelance video editing and the season makes it very hard.   I have only been able to ride a little bit and I also haven't lost much because of the less exercise.  I don't ride at night that is why it has been tough.  This was only my 3rd ride in about 3 weeks.  I was really amazed at how quick the progress I made this summer has diminished.  Have any of you experienced how quick the physical stamina can go?  I guess it motivated me to try my best to get back out there alot more again.  I will just have to make it the priority again.  I was thinking of changing things up, but I just don't enjoy working out indoors.

Great job getshane. You're right that it doesn't take long to lose the endurance whether it be cycling, running, swimming or what have you. As they say, "use it or lose it." In these sports, I think endurance is the first to go then it's the strength.

Thanks Boner!  I will keep the riding. I enjoy it alot.  My entire lifestyle has changed in the past year.  I need to realize I have to work just as hard now so I don't take steps back to the old ways.   It is just a learning curve to remember that if I take a few weeks off I have to get right back on or I could revert back to the old ways of a few weeks off becoming a few months or longer without exercise.
