Okay, Some of you are thinking.......

Some of you guys are thinking I am getting paid by OH to be on here. Lest me just start off by tell you......If I am on the PAYROLL.......well then somebody needs to start show Ronnie some Cheddar! Cause I'm not seeing a dime!!!

I am the Key note speaker on Nov.1st and guess what.....I am doing it for "FREE"!!  They ain't even giving me a room at the hotel so, what ever you are thinking about me filling my wallet off this gig....well don't worry! I am making as much off this website as you are!

I hope that before you guys write me, you will at least look at my profile. Some of you are asking things that could be answered by looking at my profile and or my web-site.

In fact look at the Videos that are on my website! On the bottom right hand side of the main page you will see an icon that says "Weight loss videos" click it and you will see everything from Entertainment tonight to the TODAY show. I sugges****ching the Montel show.

Ron---I fear that the men (actually both men and women on the boards) think you are getting paid because EACH of your posts SOUND like you are Marketing something

Example: "Hope you add me"---"check out my videos"---"go to my website" yada yada

it seems as though YOU are getting paid by HOW many "hits" you get or how many "friends" you obtain through this site ya know?

im not "hating" by no means.. im just pointing out what WE see you got me?

Maybe trying to post something REAL that DOESNT have anything to do with

A.) your career

B.) OH

C.) adding you as a friend (i could go on)

Most of the "newbies" (nickname we call new members) create a Welcome Post and thats it... then when they get replies of welcomes.. they say "thanks glad to be here" not ask "how are you" and never reply back when someone ACTUALLY says Im fine thanks and how are you too!!

Catch my drift..? I understand you MAY be a busy guy---but try to be MORE REAL and i think youll get better results!

Ok, ok, ok.. this is NOT a flame... but, just look at the flip side of all that you wrote...

Whatever celebrity status he has or has had, I still applaud him for being so candid about his weight loss journey. He certainly doesn't "have" to be so open. I think it does make him more "real' that he is willing to share here, especially some of what was written in his blogs. 
He mentions in his blogs about losing his identity, so what if he IS just trying to help people recognize him again, geeze you surely wouldn't know it if he didn't tell.
And maybe it feeds his spirit/ego (we all have an ego here c'mon) to have friends on here.
Maybe some consider his movies "d" movies at best. Whatever, to him, when he was still fat, people, I'm sure would stop him on the street and say hey your "Billy Bob" etc... wether he liked that or not back then. it HAS changed for him, and we as people, have a hard time with any change, even positive change is still not "normal" for us. In fact IISH, just the other day, I remember you having an issue yourself?
Maybe it makes him feel better to really open up about what he has been through. I don't know, but I honestly think it is too soon to be "calling him out" for anything.
And remember, i think the world of you. And I am also the first one to call a spade a spade, and if I end up being wrong here, I'll eat that **** too. But, lets give the guy a break for a bit.
I also, am not one for celebrity gawking, or being star struck etc... Just not me, and I have several famous friends...
Just think about it, he is just another fat guy that got the gift we all got. And might be unsure of how to handle himself at times. Like we all are...

Its just that IN EVERY post he comes across as MARKETING something. I applaud him for his Weight Loss... i understand him trust me! We have been through the same things... BUT i am not marketing MYSELF or anything else.

i hear you loud and clear but i cant help to be less compassionate... especially with all the replies that ask "how are you" yet there is no follow up as in a traditional conversation.

thank you and KNOW that i honestly think the WORLD OF you regardless :)

Relax.. you are successful... you are POST RNY... you have been given the opportunity that alot of others DO NOT GET... so i commend you for getting the word out if that is what you are genuinely doing!

I woudn't waste your time responding to her...some people are going to feel you are here to market yourself regardless of what you do......or say.

I agree with you AND with Guy here.  I think that it's just the nature of Hollywood and its denizens.  Actors market themselves or die trying.  I guess that doesn't translate as effectively into non-Hollywood scenarios. 

I totally got that he was here to help, that he was opening up, and that he wants to be helpful.  But I kind of (sorry, Ron) got that Hollywood cheese on the side.  I never once got the impression that he was selling anything other than himself, though.

I always love it when a woman, who obviously knows this is a mens board, is totally oblivious (and inconsiderate) to our wishes and posts a message beginning with:

"ok........ MEN please DONT blast me for posting here!!!! i just had to add my 0.02!!"

This is a mens board, as you know, so please refrain from posting here in the future.

Oh' by the way, your post is a bunch of drivel......tell someone what to, and how to, say something in a post. Great......maybe we should hire you to edit all our messages in the future.
