OK, fellas.....time to fess up
This is about the biggest thing I'm afraid at failing. I don't excersize now cause well, it hurts to damn much. I loved going to the gym when I went a couple years ago, but going solo just sucks. I might buy a bowflex or some free-wieghts and turn one of my rooms into a gym. I've got an excersize bike I want to sell or trade for a decent treadmill. Hopefully, since I have a friend 4 houses down, I can get him to come over and work out with me a few days a week.
I would also LOVE to get back into martial arts. I used to take Judo, Akido and Ju-juitsu for a while about 7 years ago and LOVED it. but fell off the wagon of course. They have this new thing around here called L.A. Boxing (which i'm sure is an offspring of LA Fitness). They supposedly have martial arts there as well as boxing. So I may join that place.
Anyhow, my lazyness is the biggest thing I'm scared of. Expecially since I'm all about gaming and entertainment (movies and TV)

We're all frickin' lazy which is why we all got fat in the first place. Gots to get away from the boob tube Dre and get back into Hai Karate shape. It can happen sooner that you think.
The new eliptical I bought has games built in with the controls on the arms. Although the games are primitive compared to the latest greatest, still pretty fun. For example, one game is Tetrus and the faster you go, the slower the bricks fall.
Make it happen man!

I am proud to say that I now, and have for the last few months, run 2-3 miles daily. I just make sure to find the time. The result has been a weight loss after goal and I feel my body changing. My goal was 235 and I am thinking I can get to 225.
Funny thing is I really don't like running but I love how I feel when I am done.

I'm only 3 1/2 weeks out. So I'm not doing too much lifting yet other than at work on light duty. But thats all going to change next monday when I go back to full-duty. I drive a tractor trailer and deliver booze to the liquor stores in the state of NH. At 90% of the stores they dont have a loading dock , so I have to unload by hand. Which means on average I move 800-1000 cases by hand everyday 5 days a week. Which works out to anywhere from 25,000 to 40,000 lbs a day.
I also walk with my wife when I get home for anywhere from 45 mins -1 hr.
I go to the gym for 3-5 times a week and use the treadmill for 45 mins at a time. I was told that I couldn't do weights because of the amount of calories consumed(960 daily). I just started eating one meal a day last week and may ask the Dr if I can mix in the machines now...
When I started my liquid program back in June I was doing 3 days 25 mins but I have built it up over time...

I get up every morning before work at 5:00 am, stagger down to the YMCA and work out.
Most of it has been, Bike, Run, Swim. I just started adding in some free weights.
Hell no I don't like getting up at 5:00 to do this, but it really is starting to make me feel better when I go. I actually find that on the days that I am lazy, don't want to go, or do a crappy work out, I pay for it emotionally and physically.
It's weird, in the past I would find reasons not to go to the gym or exercise, now I find reason to go.
