Still dumping after ll these years
Last night I went to Fridays. I was eating 3 oz of steak and mashed potatoes. I either ate too fast or didn't chew because normally I can eat this with no problem.
Not last night. By the time I got home I had belching and gas and a runny nose and I felt like crap. I spent the night puking until it came up. It was like it got stuck
I feel like a truck hit me
Beware with denser foods you need to chew even after all this time

I know, Snickel...
Pork got me the other night. The first dinner it was fine. The next evening as leftovers, it wouldn't go down - or maybe I was just less careful about chewing. But now I can pretty much feel when I have you go the john and force it to come up. I know from the beginning when something is going to cause trouble. Fortunately it's easier to make myself yack now if I have to.
As for the dumping. I don't seem to get the low blood sugar (sweats and so forth) as much, but I will get cramping in stereo of large leg muscles, which is miserable. It's usually after I've been asleep for a while and more like to occur after hard exercise. I think it's from carbs though, because it hits the same muscles in both legs simultaneously.
My guess would be partial dehydration at first, when then becomes worse when carbs push electrolytes out of my intestines (or through the intestines too fast). But a Google of cramps doesn't really give any definitive reason for them.
Best Wishes,
Dave
