IDGOMB SATURDAY
Saturday was a one-hour jog. But I did manage to weld up a new pullup bar and attach it to the ceiling in my garage/ basement. It's got both wide lat pull and flat chinup bars. It's solid steel bar, but secured in the ceiling joists with six chain legs. Now I'm thinking about going advanced: A stretch cord to help me get out extra reps (Sometimes).
My wife is a teacher too and went to the Hmong New Year here. I have gone in the past and really liked it. She did bring me home some protein rich BBQ meet with some really hot sauce. She spoke of how her students talked her into eating the Papaya salad, which she didn't care for. It sounded good to me, but I wonder about the "palm sugar" in it and would probably not be able to eat it. Is Kataw the game where they throw a spinning top at other players tops?
I love the Papaya salad. They don't put sugar in it around here, though. But they do put COPIOUS amounts of chili peppers in it! I get it with one chili...which they call baby food.
Kataw is the game with the woven ball about the size of a softball. They then play hacky-sack over a net. It's really fun!
