Lump over the back of my rib cage
I've lost 120 pounds and today notice something I had never felt before on my back, over the back of my rib cage. It was a golf ball sized lump that moves around. No pain, and it feels like my back tissue used to feel when I had all the fat still.
Is it possible this is a pocket of fat that's not been metabolized? Like I said, it seems to be a new thing. Anyone heard of this?
Anyway, I'm having my GP doc check it out. Just wondering.

I'm no expert; my 12-mo labs are coming up in a month or so. My last complete lab panel ordered by my RNY surgeon was at the 4 mo. point, so I guess I'll soon find out whether I've been doing things right.
After my hip surgery at the end of July, my hematocrit was waay down (it was fine immediately before the surgery), so I've been paying attention to getting in enough iron daily. Around a month ago, I was almost (but not quite) back to normal. I usually take 3x45mg of carbonyl iron and 3x27mg (iron) as ferrous gluconate, once a day, along with 500mg of vitamin C. Why this combo? It's not science on my part; I just find that the carbonyl iron is fairly non-constipating. Once my labs are back to normal, I'll probably cut down to 1 tab each of each form of iron.
Other than that iron, I take:
2 Centrum Chewables
1 1000mcg SL B12 (Trader Joe's)
4 1000 IU vitamin D3
6 (2 tabs 3x/day) Calcium Citrate+D (315mg/200IU per tab)
1 Nature Made Super B Complex Tablets (not gelcaps); that has 100mg of thiamin (B1)
1 1000mcg Biotin, just for the hell of it
It's a pain, but I don't want to get sick, and I really want to ensure that I get adequate calcium after my hip surgery, since the implant is uncemented -- it's designed to have the bone "grow into" the porous surface of the device, so lotsa calcium and vitamin D.
At my 4 mo. labs, my B12 was quite high, and my NUT advised me to cut down to twice a week or once a week, but I haven't, since it's easier for me to remember to take it daily.
