I take my MethylCobalamin Sublingual B-12 (1,000 mcg) daily.
In cap/tab form one could go daily too. But, you may need more to ward off deficiency.
Try it daily for a month and have your levels checked. A dose of 1000 mcg has not been shown to have toxic effect.

I take 1000mcg b-12 sublingually each morning. It's supposedly not toxic since you just **** out what you don't use. On the other hand, B12 deficiency can cause severe and irreversible damage to the nervous system. Since we WLSers don't absorb b12 very well there's pretty much a general consensus recommendation by our nuts for us to take it in some form or fashion. The only question is how much and often.
Bottom line for me personally is that B12 is supposed to increase our energy levels so good enough for me since it's nontoxic and inexpensive.
