2 weeks preop
Hey!
I just started the all liquid 2 week pre op diet and my wife got home yesterday after having her left knee replaced.
We are going for broke she needed the replacement so she can walk with me after surgery. She had a few problems with bloodpressure and sugar after surgery. She also had a reaction to oxycotten.
She wants to have the other one replaced asap. I am 53 and she is 52.
Our daughter gets married on Dec 20th and the ultimate
challenge will be resisting my wifes wedding cake that night. Ya we will be catering the affair and I will arrange all the silk flowers and decorate the church and hall for the wedding so wish me a speedy recovery.

Stephen what a great future your wife and you will have growing healthy together. The only trouble you'll have is ordering the right size tuxs.. Best of luck to the both of you. I'd do it again as well, Mars don't give up on getting diabetes free some times it takes a couple months but I would hope you already have seen a reduction in your med's. Rocky Top
Steve,
That is a lot to cram in between now and the end of the year!
Good to see you and wife rehab together. Have heard said that if you need knee replacements get them both at once other wise based on the experience with the first one might not go back for second.
Have you considered offering to pay the daughter to elope instead of having a formal wedding? Just an idea.
Make the cake sugar free and serve good hooch. Nobody will know the difference!
