Hang tough laddy!  You are going through what we Yanks refer to as "buyer's remorse".  Also known as the "what the hell have I done to myself" stage.  Be patient.  It will pass and the weight will be coming off in stones! (I hope that is the right word  We Yanks have absolutely murdered the English language!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Try drinking a protein shake. What kind of surgery did you have? It does get easier. Also instead of eating try walking first. I would stay away from potatoes. You need protein first, then water n then carbs. Head hunger is no fun

Aww I wanna hear you speak I like how you guys talk. Anyway, yes, it will get better, just get the hell away from potatoes and you'll be doing MUCH better. Start with your protein and fluids and then branch out later. Don't be a fool, you know what's right and what's wrong, but if you need more guidance just ask questions and we'll set you on the right path....oh, and watch out for Bama, he's likely to kick you in the gentles. Have a happy day!

Where the hell is that? And don't pick on Rednecks I live in Louisiana haha (I'm by no means a redneck but I definitely know PLENTY)

Bama is on the lower Alabama coast.

I can pick on rednecks all I want to!  I practically am are one!   (bad grammer intended) Did ranch work when not policing.  I know how to drive and fix tractors, can weld, fix barbed wire fences, feed cattle and can take a bull calf and make him a steer along with many other ranch related skills.  Skills that are not very marketable in suburban Atlanta but still none the less in my repertoire!

Felt right at home yesterday in Dawsonville, GA when I found a Tractor Suppy Company (TSC) store to wander through and buy me some 38X30 blue jeans.  FYI - have not worn 38's since the Reagan years first began so that is a my "mini-FART" for today!   Have a good week Lance!!

Yeah that's fantastic, 38's are a little snug on me but 40's are too damn big so I'm in between! haha So you're a copper, eh? I'll try to have a good week and you do the same!

I felt just like you do. At two weeks it was clear that I was going to have to continue on at least one diabetes medication, I hit a stall (common), I was onto the puree stage of the post-op diet but craving carbs so badly that thought I'd go insane. I was discouraged, disappointed, and found myself wondering why I had ever done this to myself.

Week three and four post-op were tough for me. Then I turned the corner. I started loosing again, my energy picked up, my mood was high, I felt great. That lasted a total of two days before I got hit with whatever bug it is that's kept me in bed for the past week.

My point, what you are feeling is normal. Your body and mind are still trying to deal with your surgery. I never felt full with soups, yogurt, and the like. Once I moved on to chicken breast and lean proteins, things got much better.

Hang in there... it gets better.... much better.
