? for those more than a year out
I'm 11 months out and have noticed a change in just the last couple of weeks. My **** is getting darker. And I don't think it has anything to do with an impending Obama presidency. My **** has been kind of a dull greyish brown for the last 9 months or so and now all of a sudden it's back to the Hershey tones that I knew pre-op. What does this mean if anything? My diet hasn't changed all that much.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
But it has changed though. Really examine what you're eating and I think you might see some changes like more carbs etc. Also you might be absorbing things into the system now than before
If it gets darker or turns black then it is significant of a bleed. Check with your dr to be sure.
My protein shake affects the color.

anything can change the color of your poo....too much iron, or another type of vits....different diet...extra salad, etc.
If it's not dark black (a sign of internal bleeding) then I'd say don't worry about it......or maybe your poo is the magic 8 ball of presidential elections...you sit down ask your poo whose gonna be president, and if it comes out dark ...you know it's obama, and if it comes out light, you know it's the long shot...lol.

JFish, have you been on any different meds lately? I know when I got my last hernia and ended up in the ER overnight cause it got stuck, they pumped me up with pain meds, and I had the same problem as you for a few days. It went away eventually and I've since had the hernia fixed. Probably nothing, but just keep your eye on it just in case (yeah I know, watch your ****!!)

No new meds, no new vitamins, but yeah the carbs are probably up a little over what they were for a long time. I'm just wondering if it's an indication that the malabsorption effect is about over. I hope not. I did so enjoy that fat tumbling it's ass off of my body.
