The Lipoma on Elm Street
OK, it actually was inside my GP's office, but I couldn't resist, it being the scary season.
In our last episode, you recall I found a large lump on my back and was scheduled for surgery to have it slashed, scooped and sewed.
Had that done Monday. The egg-sized lump turned out to be considerably larger. Once the doc got done, after almost an hour of digging, snipping and plucking, there was a banana-sized pile of bloody head-cheese looking stuff on a tray.
Or, perhaps it was more like steak tartar . . .
I'd attach the pix I took with my Blackberry, but it even grosses me out, so I won't.
You'll just have to take my word that it did not have hair or teeth.
Two layers of stitches and sore, but otherwise alright. Just glad to have Quasimoto gone.
:)
