Zero Carb Isopure
Hey Dan,
My DW is drinking the Nectar Protein Strawberry and she really likes it. She has never had a protein drink in her life before last month and she drinks this everyday with Crystal Light lemonade, I tasted it and it is good. I'm looking for that Click stuff to see if I like it.
Best Regards,

I love that stuff...I drink it everyday.
Try mango peach.
I have 5 12 packs in the pantry now...all different flavors. I fill a thermos with ice and add the Zero Carb Isopure...then I'm off to the beach and do my walking. It travels well and can easily be mixed with 4C Totally Light 0 Carb, 0 Calories Drink mix. It tastes great.
I use powder when I'm home but Isopure is the best.

I use Syntrax ( parent company of Nectar ) vanilla. I like their products for ease of prep,i.e., they can be mixed with a spoon rather than needing a blender. I suggest that anyone who is pre-op only get small samples prior to the surgery. Some people's tastes change after the surgery and you may not like the proteing sup post-op. That happened to me and I gave away about $50 worth of protein supps. Some of the smaller supply companies will send you several packets of individual proteing servings. You may be able to find them in the OH.com Store. I think www.bariatriceating.com is one of them, but I know there are others who do advertise here who may do this also.
I've been doing Click in the morning. it's got some sugar in it though. So damn tastey and gives me a decent amount of pep to get the day started. If I do a shake at night I've been doing Chocolate ISOPure and it's really not bad at all. Granted I mix it with some Silk Light and water just for some creamyness or I'll mix in fruit.
I bought some vanilla GNC 100% Whey Protien to try out yesterday. it was only $21.99 for a big tub. Havne't tried it yet. Thinking of doing a berry/vanilla shake for dinner tonight instead of real food. It's got a slight amount of sugar per serving. Like 2g I think. The serving size is per 8oz whereas the ISOPure is 12oz. ISOPure is about 100 calories more.
I've noticed those tubes of high protien liquids in the store with fruity flavors and was wondering if they would mix well in Jell-O. Has anyone done this? or mixed powder with pudding?
Any good recommendations for non-desert tasting high protien blends? Something that might taste like a dinner?
I've been experimenting with some blended home-made soups. Tomato & Basil, Pea, and Egg Drop so far. Not to shabby though the tomato was a bit of work.
Sorry for ramblin' bored at work.

Dan the Man,
I drink at least one Isopure Zero Carb 20 oz every day, I've tried all the flavors and used to be hooked on the Grape Frost but tried a new flavor the last time and have order cases of it since, Black Tea - not Lemon Tea, but BLACK TEA. It tastes like Apple Cider, the real stuff! I love it. In fact I'm choking down 2 cases of the mixed stuff that I purchased along with the Black Tea Sample and after I drink these, I'm only ordering Black Tea flavor. Yum Yum
