Just realizing that I now officially have less weight to loos than I have already lost.

Down 5 pant sizes from 48 to 38. And down from a XXL/XXXL shirt to a XL and probably a large but just can't bear to try it. I do not like anything tight on my belly and that top part of my belly is still BIG.

I also was at a conference 4 hours ride from home this weekend and found that I choose not to eat out like I could have. I admit most of it was fear of eating something that my body could not deal with but I still chose. And I still had fun. It seems eating is not EVERYTHING. And I am very surprised. Call me crazy. I am still surprised every time when I actually choose to walk up a flight of stairs and it does not leave me spent and breathless. I actually feel great doing it.

Now with a little surgery on my Achilles tendon I will be able to do more walking and do climbing more often. I can not wait!

^^^ It see mes hysterical to me that I could write that above and feel giddy doing it. This is wild.

Congratulations!

By the way, be careful about achilles tendon surgery.  Frequently it doesn't help or heal well.  Often wearing a moffo brace can promote the healing without surgery.  Just throwing in my unsocilicted 2cents.

Thanks guys.

Henry,
I sincerely hope the surgery works. I did try the boot for 6 weeks. No help. There is a bone spur that is irritating the hell out of the tendon so it SOUNDS like it will help as they remove that as well.
