Tommorrow I will be 3 months out with GBS. Im 67 pounds down from 297,Im starting to experience pain on my tail bone and buttocks. Is this from losing weight or cushion down there. What can I do for this pain ?

I was told by my doctor that it has a lot to do with the ligaments adjusting to the weight loss.  I personally saw it get worse and only now start to feel better.  I still get sore of long flights and constantly have to change seated positions.

Im a dispatcher and most of the time Im sitting constantly for over 8-12 hrs a day . Man I need some relief, lol. Another thing, since we are guys here,I had a encounter last night with a date and she rode the hell out of me and now the area all around above mr one eye is sore as hell. She was a fit women not heavy. Is this because I have no cushion there also ?

Sorry to hijack the thread, but had to ask hawgman how he's hanging at 3 wks out. So tell it, hawgman. Tell it all.

squats...lots and lots and lots of squats. It builds the butt up and helps support the area.

IN addition you can buy one of those pillows that has a V cut out of it. You sit on it, with the empty V under your tail bone. It is suppose to help relieve the pressure in that area.

Oh Gosh!  What the hell are you complaining about?!  LOL

I just happen to be a dispatcher also and I know exactly what you are going through.  I had several long days/nights where I actually stood up at the console at worked.  I used a pillow for a while, but then found the problem sort of self-corrected.  I guess I got used to it.  As far as your second problem, DAAAAMMNN, sounds like you had a freak in the bed last night!  Can't help you on that one, but it's probably a similar issue.

Good luck!

I'm 7 months out and have to sit on a donut pillow while in the car, either driving or as a passenger.

No, you don't have a tumor on each side of your butt, it's just the Ischium of your Pelvic Girdle saying hello for the first time!

Squats helped me a lot, and believe it or not, sitting on hard chairs for a while.
