Knock on wood

Its 10:45 pm and I am watching thr Cardinals game.   And just to clarify, the Cards are not 'my' team... I just need Kurt Warner and Larry Fitzgerald to have good games so I could win my fantasy football game... and they have!

The Colts are MY team!

The surgery went really well, so I am told.  I have been up walking every two hours... I'm up over a mile total already!

I want to say thanks to everyones well wishes and prayers.  That really meant a lot to me.  I have to ge a weight loss ticker now.  My starting weight pre-suregery was 379.9.  Can't wait to see where I am at come April when golf season rolls into Indiana!

Everyone here at St. Vincent's has been awesome.  And I love Dr. Jones, se came in and talked to me before the surgery and totally calmed my nerves down.  What a great lady she is.

Gotta go walk... talk to you all soon.

Wow man, you're doing great!  I can't believe you have the mentality on the first nght to compose a message like this.  I was out of my frickin' mind and dying from gas pain and thirst on my first night.

Can't wait to hear about your success!

Doing great!!  Just a reminder...I lost my golf game after WLS.  I hadn't played for awhile after WLS.  Went to play...I had lost some muscle mass...very common.  I use to drive the ball 210 yards on average (useing older clubs).  I had dropped down to about a 180 yards.  Very frustrating.  Enjoy the walk.  Also watch for the signs of dehydration if you're exercising big time.  Brian

Awesome job, Jami. You are the new record holder for fastest post to the locker room following WLS. Oh, ya....congrats on your successful WLS and speedy recovery. You're on your way to a very successful journey based upon your early efforts and enthusiasm. Just don't overdue it early out since you've just come through major surgery.

Best of luck!

Here is a happy dance for you!  Terrific to hear that all is well and congratulations.  I haven't gone yet, so I have no advice.  But you take good care of yourself and do what you have to do to get back in the swing of things.
