Good for you doing some recruiting.  You just need to add a few words so the others don't get the wrong idea!

Good for you Snick for leading guys to our locker room and sticking up for us "lowly" men! Why do women get so *****y when it comes to men and our issues??

I can understand posting on the MB in the hope that other men there may realize that we have our own forum.  However, I usually invite individual men to join our forum by Contacting them directly.  I tell them how to navigate the various links to get to the Men's Forum and I advise them that they may want to lurk before chiming in.  I always let them know they are welcome.

I rarely go to other forums.  By the way, you mentioned last week about going to the R & R board.  I just want the other men to realize that does not stand for Rest and Relaxation.  It's quite the opposite since it's the Rant and Rave board and I can't understand why anyone would voluntarily post there.  You are just asking to be attacked no matter what you say there.  I've only been there once when the moderators at OH transferred one of our threads there last Spring or Summer.  I complained to them about that because I was getting nasty OH messages in response to something I had posted on our forum.

I have had a few lively discussions there but I can truthfully say they are very supportive people. The people on that board, myself included,  are as protective of their forum as we men are here. I'm sure that when unwanted people ie women post here and get some of the answers I have seen and given it raises a few eyebrows.

 

 

I started out in Tuna Town, too, not knowing any better. Some kind soul responded to a message with a men's forum invite and this is now where I come for support and to give encouragement back.
