Back in the hospital again

That sucks to be in the hospital on thanksgiving day (or any day for that matter).  I will be sending positive thoughts and prayers your way for a speedy recovery and for insight into what is going on so that they can get you back in shape.   Thanks for letting us know so we can be of support to you.  Get home soon!!!

I'm sorry to hear of your situation and I'm glad that your wife got you to the hospital in time.  I immediately wondered if you have ambulance service where you live.  If you are in critical condition, they can save your life or at least stabalize you until you get to the hospital.  I have tremendous respect for EMTs after listening to the tales my nephew, a volunteer EMT in Central & Noth Jersey (he belongs to squads at home and near college) has tell. 

We do have ambulance services but we live very close to the hospital closer than the ambulance station so it's faster to drive their than the time it takes for them to get here. The EMS service here is great and if I would have been bad enough I would of called them. I was a volunteer EMT and fire fighter for over 20 years before I got too fat to continue. Now that I have lost my weight I have considered getting back into it again but they only have paid services in my town and I am too old to get the job. I sure know what you mean about stories I have enough stories to write a book.
