Doc says I'm overweight.
Went to my GP for a diabetes checkup for the first time post op. I'm a little short of 3 months out and my doc tells me I'm overweight. This is a good thing since I've been obese forever. She was also happy to report that I'm also listed in the tightly controlled group of diabetics. Another first. No more BP medicine, 1 cholesterol pill (since the suggested levels are lower for diabetics). 1 diabetes pill. No injected insulin. On the down side, eating sucks , clothes don't fit and we won't get into the aftermath of digestion. All in all, a fair trade so far.
