Been a good week so far
First off I took my wife out for Mexican food to one of our favorite restaurants on Staurday. I ate grilled chicken and some refried beans... The part that made me grin from ear to ear was that before WLS I would have to sit at a table or if we were in a booth I would scoot the bench way back so I could fit. This time I just sat down to see it I coould fit now. Lo and behold I had INCHES to spare.
Then on Monday I attended my 1 month seminar were they introduced us to the food groups we could now eat. I was weighed and I am down another 9 lbs for a total loss of 39 lbs. During this seminar they talked about the rules for life. I realized that I was doing all of what was recommended except for exercising. So that night I got off my butt and walked for 1.2 miles. Last night I didn't go for my walk as I was out shopping with my wife and kids, but I was standing and walking around store for a few hours - during the course of this shopping I bought myself a new pair of adidas. These are the first athletic shoes I have owned in a decade.
So those are my proud and happy moments so far this week.

IT'S COLD HERE IN CHICAGO. That has kind of halted my long walks out side for a while. But, I still have the treadmill and have been walking on that instead. But, this weekend I discovered shopping malls as a good place to exorcise.. Honestly I HATE shopping malls especially this time of year. But, Im Weigh****chers friends kept talking about meeting in groups and walking the mall for exorcise. Today just because I needed a change I joined them. So at 7 am I went over to the shopping mall (about 30 min from my house. I met then in the agreed upon meeting spot. (right in front of JC PENNYS) and we walked there were about 8 of us today.. I'll tell you they have the idea there. We walked the inner perimeter of the mall 10 times all and all added up to be about 4 miles. But, it was a great place to walk... At each entrance to the mall they even have a map that showed the route to take to get the most out of your work-out.
