So close

It has been almost three weeks sionce I have been able to weigh myself. Had foot surgery and been confined to the 1st floor. So today I just could not take it any more and crawled up the stairs. Peeled my self off the floor and used the crutches kindly brought up by my wife to get on the scale.

I am so close to Century City. Just not there yet. I am 201 pounds. But hell I am down 71 punds and have 51 to go so I will count it a good day. I am on the last notch of the third belt since suregy counting the one I started with. It is wild. I love my decision to have RNY. I just wish this foot would heal sooner so that I could actually exercise. Hell a shower standing on two feet would be fun.

Congratulations you are doing great.  How was the ride down the stairs?  Like a bumpy slide?

That tailbone is much more easily bruised than ever before. Yup Bumpy. Better than my knees on the way up though. Zero padding there.

Mac,
Congrats. We're at about the same post op time and loss. Isn't it fun whenever that last belt hole doesn't work anymore? I know what you mean about the tailbone too. I work in an office environment and have never had trouble sitting down all day. Now I know where my tailbone is and how to swap from cheek to cheek to keep it happy. All in all, a fair trade. Do you have any hair loss yet. Mine has just started in earnest and I'm curious.
Good luck,
Jim

Marc, were you getting any exercise over the last few weeks.  Just wondering how...and how did it effected your weightloss?  I'm sure just using the crutches (and muscles you haven't used with them) worked on some of the weightloss.  For those that get layed up, any insights on "how to move" to lose.

Hey Jim,

I have definitely lost hair recently. Much more than i care to. Uggh. How long before it comes back? Does it really come back??

Cabin, I was not and am not exercising. I am working my butt off moving around on those crutches though. I feel that so long as I move as much as my body allows and try to push that then I am doing good. I had this surgery so that I would hopefully be able to push my body further. Prior to the surgery the most I could do was a stationary bicycle. I would rather have the option to walk some of the time. I like the outdoors. I have missed it for a very long time.
