no progress

I'm 3 months post op. I have only lost about 15 lbs. Granted I have yet to have a fill due to scheduling issues. Any advice to move things along till my fill on the 4th of Jan?

15 lbs is not terrible with no restriction.  But if you want to move it along, I'd do three things.

1. Exercise
2.  Keep away from carbs.  period.
3.  Start with dense proteins that fill you up.

Sounds like you are struggling and disappointed with your progress so far.  Thanks for sharing it with others and not giving in or up.  I don't really know much about your procedure, but would encourage you to continue following the recommended process (water, protein, etc....)  Check in from time to time and let us know how you are moving that body of yours.  I also see a counselor to talk about my unconscious and emotional eating crap that keeps tempting me.  How are you working with the emotional part?

I remember right before my 1st fill, I could eat just about as much as before surgery.  Glad you have a fill scheduled, that should help.  You didn't mention exercise, so if you are having trouble fitting it in,  try walking 30 minutes a day.    I walk for 2 fifteen minute periods if I am busy.  My doc stayed on me from the beginning about exercise being an integral part of this journey.  Henrywb is also dead on about protein in your diet, too.

FWIW, once you get the fill on 1/4, do everything on your part to stay on a regular follow-up schedule for subsequent fills.  The lap-band is a partnership between you and the doctor.  Does your doctor emphasize follow-up?
