Carbonblob-reply to last post
I wanted to say thanks to all here with one single post. So thanks for the great replies to my 3 year anniversary. I just don't have the time anymore to reply individually so i hope you all understand.
i noticed a chick posted in here while searching for my post last week. same **** different day huh? when will they ever learn? Anyway, you guys had a lot of questions which i'll get to in a moment. right now, i have a temp of over 100, lost my voice and i'm sick as a dog with the flu! i can't take off of work. a real story in itself. my boss flew out from the east coast and canned my counterpart in san diego. i have to cover his territory as well as my own. which means ventura to the boarder! this guy created so much havic that i'm working on holidays and saturdays just keep up. yep, even as sick as i am.
so.....i still have two dogs and my g/f for those who asked! the love of my life as always. my pouch is doing ok. i haven't had an ER visit in a long time. i gave up protein shakes and that seemed to help. still eat like crap or forget to eat! i've had a bowl of soup in the last 24 hours! man, i couldn't go without food for that long when i was big.
so russ, wow, are you getting studly or what? you'll like this. the neighbor kid who scarffed all the food, well, i hadn't seen him in almost a year. he lost over 100 pounds dieting! yep, must of been about 325 or so and now he's like a 190. he went to live with relatives who demanded he eat right. so he did it by dieting and eating right. real good to hear from you bro, love ya too.
hey notdave! you da man! those abs. sure you were overweight? i'm attaching a couple of pics. i don't have any recent but on one you can see i'm shooting for your look in the ab department....lol. i'm actually a little tighter than the pic now due to not eating for a week! as for the pain and the rest, i've just learned to live with it. no more pain meds for me. i'll just get hooked and then trade one problem for another. been there done that. i do want to do something for cardio. i work so many long hours, running has been out since july and i don't want to fire up the pool heater in winter, even though it's rarely below 50 out here. how long does it take to do the 90 thing?
hey doug, great to hear from you as well. guess this post brought out the oldies but goodies! maybe, if i have second, i'll stop what i'm doing and look at the other site we went to. i thought everyone bailed on this site. oh well, as long as we're still together. i'll come here more often then.
ok, scott, scotty, mike, dan, panhead, bama, nick and steve thanks so much for the support you've given me in the past three years. i just have to wonder where i would be weightwise had i not taken this job? i was starting to gain a little bit but between working out and running i kept pretty steady. i think just physical activity, like work, and staying busy has helped me maintain. like i said, i can pretty much stuff myself and eat like i used to. we gotta keep coming here to remind oursleves to put down the shovel and use a spoon. i'm gonna try like hell to come back here and post more often to you guys. i think i'm at the point where i can help newbies and stop writing about me me me all the time.....lol. thanks again you guys, youv'e been my only friends through this whole journey and i thank you all for your support and warm words.........carbonblob

Hey CB!
I've had a lot of theories in the past about body fat. Maybe it is the exercise to some extent, but I suspect that 80% of it is a result of the surgery. But it could be due in part to extensive exercise as a fat man, never really stopping my exercise and then really pouring it on pre-op.
The P90X stands for "Power Ninety X" and the 90 stands for "Ninety days." I've done a lot of mine on a laptop. It's a great total body fitness program.
Those pics didn't come through here, but I'll check your profile.
Best Wishes,
Dave
