HOHOHOHOHOHOHO
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope everyone has a safe happy health holiday season.
For me this is that day of the LAST SUPER. Prime Rib, Garlic Mashed potatoes, a homemade dinner roll, ginger carrots and salad fallowed by a nice peace MEDIUM peace of cheese cake. I wont over due it because I really want to be a looser at my Weigh****chers Weigh in Saturday. But, my LAST day to splurge before surgery prep and then the BIG DAY 1/5.
I was wondering what others did at this point in the process. What was your last meal??? Before surgery?? Did you celebrate in some way???

Mine was a HUGE lobster about 2 weeks prior t surgery. Just before I started the liquid diet. It was sooooooo good.
Know that in time you will be able to enjoy those foods again. Just not in very small quantities. You would not believe what I had for Christmas dinner last night. It was smaller than a little kids plate AND I was satisfied. It was pretty funny actually. Now if I could have stayed out of the after dinner drinks I would have been pretty good. I stayed out of the sweets though. Back to the routine today though.
I guess at your point I had spent a good month saying goodbye to food. Not over doing it but savoring each food as I ate it. Feeling like I would never see it again. But I am good with it now. I can taste just about everything and a taste is really enough. I never thought it would be but it is.
