After all of the "treats" I've been dealing with since my surgery, I decided that since Uncle Sam was going to allow me to deduct a percentage of my out-of-pocket medical expenses this year, I'd also get my teeth fixed. Had the lower teeth pulled and a denture installed. After this, I could scarcely chew anything, let alone pulverize it like we should. Add in the holiday eating and upsetting my daily schedule for two weeks and I was sure the damage would be considerable. I went to the gym for the first time in two weeks and, with much trepidation, got on the scale to assess the damage.

I couldn't believe it since this is a place I haven't been since my military days back in the early 70's. Rather than getting ****y, I've decided I just dodged a bullet and am back on schedule with the gym and my meal selections.
What a long, strange trip it's been.
