Another board/support group here on OH just for us guys.

Hey Guys

            I wanted to tell all you guys about my OH Group’s support group/ message board. I started this group a little over a year ago and it has grown to the third largest OH group 163 members strong and one of the most active. The men’s board was my inspiration in starting my group and I named it the Men’s Locker Room in honor of the men’s board. The men’s board played a major role in helping me in my weight loss journey and by starting this group it was meant to add to and not replace the men’s board.   I decided to make this group for men only. The reason I made it for men only was because I control who joins the group and unlike the men’s board I can keep it for men only so we won’t have any unwanted lurkers. This way if any of us guys have a personal male problem we would like to discuss we can do it in private. I am a certified support group leader and I run a support group in my town. I got my training here on OH by attending several and continued training sessions over the phone. Things have been a little slow on my board lately but I am planning to start some new thing on the board like a weekly topic dissection and a weekly weigh in. I am also going to bring back the monthly live meeting in the chat room. We have had several live chat sessions in the past and they were very informative and fun. I remember the last chat session we had by the end of the meeting I was rolling on the floor laughing my ass off at some of the stuff the guys were talking about. How do you post in the group? I'm not seeing anything but who has joined recently.

Fritz, I could see the discussions after I joined but there's not much activity for one of the most active groups!  I dropped back off the list.

Like I said in my post things have not been active lately but I was hoping by recruiting more members we could get the activity going again. Sorry you felt like you had to drop off the list. Your membership would have only made the group better.

I went to the top of the page and bookmarked. It will make it easier for me to get to and post more there.
