That's not neccessary. Just follow the instructions of your surgeon / nutritionist.
And just so you know, it is normal for you to be able to eat more the further out you are. Just accept it as it is unavoidable.
That is why the first year or so is so important, because you've got to change your lifestyle and make new, healthy habits that will last the rest of your life.
I was super strict the first 9 months or so and never ate more than 4 ounces (1/2 cup). I also never felt full. Since I reached goal around that time my nutritionist told me to start eating more volume and recommended about 1.5 cups of food per meal...I tried it and actually felt satisfied...the closest to "full" I've felt since surgery...that's about 12 ounces if you're curious.
