Wednesday Coffee Talk

Good Wednesday morning everyone!  I'm being a late every day this week.  Sure does feel good to be lazy too.  HAHA!!   More than that, it feels good to be happy!  And that my friends, leads me to today's challenge!

Our challenge today is to be happy.  Remember the song that came out in the early 80's "Don't Worry, Be Happy"?  No other song could be truer.  Things are going to happen and things are also going to work themselves out!  Don't they always?  We worry about life and it's "things" too much and life is too short to go through worrying all the time.  I use to be the world's worst worrier.  I worried about my problems, the world's problems, your problems and all God's children's problems.  I kid you not.  I would worry for other folks.  WHY?  WHY WORRY?  What good does it do?  It only makes you sick.  Today, be happy.  let life make you happy.  It is too short not to be happy.  Laugh, smile, LOVE!  Be happy!

So, what cha sippin' on this morning?  ME?  I'm loving me another S/F Hazelnut, S/F Vanilla Cafe Latte.  I'm so hooked!  HA!

Y'all have a wonderful and HAPPY Wednesday!

Good morning Randall,
Great words to live by.  I must disagree with you about worrying however.  I found that about 95% of the things that I worried about never happened, so it must have helped.

Two years, nine months and 5 days ago I was diagnoised with cancer.  When my doctor called me to give the news, every circut breaker in my head snapped.  It turned out to be one of the best days of my life.  With that new perspective on my mortality, I decided that I didn't have time for any more bad days.  And so it has been ever since.  There are days that are more challanging than others, and show me someone that is smiling all of the time and I will show you someone that is ready for the room with padded walls.
One of my favorite scriptures states "men are that they might have joy".  I consider that to be a commandment that I fully intend on keeping.
Thanks for your upbeat post, I enjoy them.
Paul
