Feelin' the blues

I've also had a lot of downs with my ups.  I think you have some good advice up above.  I think it is also good to remember that food has been an unhelpful friend to many of us in comforting us when we feel down (or whatever) and now that we don't turn to it so easily we have to deal with our emotional life rather than suppress those feelings with stuffing ourselves with food.  It is good that you are naming your feelings and dealing with them.  Hang in there!!!!

Thanks for the post and then all the replies.

I had heard all of this before but had not been in a place that I needed it. I was wondering why I felt out of sorts and high anxiety. I forgot how WLS works with the hormones. And how it works with loosing the food as a comfort tool. It is a bear! But it is good to know the source and that it will eventually even out. 

My take away is that I just need to stay the course and tough it out. And as needed add some meds for the short term.
