Question for NotDave on HIIT
Now I see the post! Sorry I missed this. I think an Aerdyne gives you progressively increased resistance as you pedal harder faster (or at least I imagine a fan to work that way), so unless you have an aerdyne with a shifter or ajustable fan blade angle (lol) it probably won't work.
You'll need a regular stationary bike with some kind of variable resistance. Electromagnetic/ electronic is the least hassle and you may even be able to find one of those expensive interval bikes like we have in the gym at my U. It's called a Powermax (Japanese). Everyone but me avoids that thing like a plague. Face it, HIIT is just "too good" to catch on!
