Well I did it. I have been able to walk on my foot for about 3 weeks now and been just walking to get some of the pain out of it due to being off it for over 2 months.

So today I went to the gym!!  Yea! I was there at 4:30am before going to work. I had not been in over 3 months. Due to foot and rotator cuff problems. But today was a new day. Even got past my fear of it being a new gym that I had not been to before as well. I did the stationary bike, some machines, some stretches and then exercises for my shoulder. All and all a very good feeling day!

Now if it was just not so cold when I need to get out of bed! I am thinking of just sleeping in my work out clothes and avoiding the need to get changed in a very chilly house, 55 or less before I go.

 I had to sort of "rest" today because I hadn't had a day off from exercise in about 6 days. I did get quite out of breath though doing backbends and forward bends for 40 minutes, because of the pressure bending both ways puts on my lungs. This is one way that they say yoga/ contortionism (virtually same health benefits) gives you a cardio workout and increases lung capacity. Having to breath in various positions and with the bottom portion of your lungs under pressure does some interesting things to the cardiovascular system.

I took a day off yesterday.  Today, I rode stationary bike and did 1.5 miles of fast walking.
