Jay,
Follow the Four Mantras of Life Post WLS and everything will be fine.
1. Sip, sip, sip. Need to get you fluids in.
2. Walk, walk, walk. Exercise and prevent blood clots.
3. Any problems - CALL YOUR DOCTOR!! 'nuff said.
4. Except in the Locker Room never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!! You may find yourself experiencing a "laundry emergency"!
Strap in and hang on for the ride!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Not in the pamphlet but one that a lot of folks learn the hard way - myself included!
Fortunately I was home when it happened! even at ten months out if I have any doubt about what is fixing to happen I try to get some porcelain under me before I learn the hard way again! Better safe than sorry!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Walking 30 minutes a day really helped me with the gas issue starting my first day home. I remember the 30 minutes being extremely slow, and lethargic, but I was up and moving. Congrats and keep your head in the game, the first 3 weeks were the toughest from a mental perspective (for me at least).
Where are we going?? And why am I in this handbasket??
right now. somewhere. somebody is working harder than you.
