I had a F.A.R.T. when I got weighed

I've been posting about using the Beck Diet Solution since mid Jan.  Well, first of all, I've been abstinate from my addictive foods since the end of Jan.  And, I've been losing weight at a steady pace. I get weighed at my cardiologist's office once a week.   But, Thurs I was hoping to see if I had lost 2-3 lbs in the past week and found that I lost 10.6 pounds in one week!.  I do realize that it is mostly water since I've just begun using my lymphedema pump after not using it for years.

Lymphedema is a condition where the lymph system breaks down in a portion of the body--usually in arms or legs.  I have severe lymphedema in my right leg and mild lymphedema in my left one.  My right thigh is larger in circumference than most obese men's waists.  The lymphedema pump squeezes lymph fluid into veins where it gets carried to the kidneys and leaves the body as urine.  So, I know I'm mostly losing water.  But, that will help my legs and relieve the strain on my entire body of carrying so much excess weight.

I'll be glad to lose weight in smaller amounts, but I'm glad for occasional major drops like this.
