Magic?

Well I don't know what to call it, but it sure feels like magic or a miracle.

I have had severe allergies all my life - pollens, molds, and foods.  I also have pretty bad asthma.  This has been the case even when I was a child.

Yesterday I struck out on an adventure that ALWAYS gets me in ho****er.

I did yard work.

I am allergic to the grass and within a few minutes I will start wheezing and if I keep going the asthma attack can last for hours and medicine won't help it (inhalers, breathing treatments, etc)
So my wife has banned me from yardwork.  Every once and awhile I get a wild hair and try to do it and I always come close to death (literally)

Yesterday I started mowing the front yard - no problems, not winded even, no allergies except a slight irritation that went away.  So I didn't stop there, I weed eated - holy crap weed eating is far worse on me that mowing ever was - nothing, no problems, so I keep going and raked up dried dead grass.  All told I worked for a couple hours in the yard and it FELT FRIGGIN GREAT!

So I am not sure how, but this WLS has been helping with my allergies as well.  Life feels great today.

That is fantastic!  I went out to do yard work and realized that I would need a snow shovel to get to the grass.............

It will just get better and better.  I have gone from a fistful of pain killers and medications and a sleep apnea machine to NOTHING!!!!
I am sure that you are on the same track.
Keep up the great work and enjoy life again.

My asthma got better after my heart bypass.  It got even better after my WLS!!  The sky is the limit.

Seems like cures all around.  I wore those nose strips for years, and happen to forget for a few days.  Guess what, I slept throught the nights without cotton mouth, and tossing and turning.  no more breath rights
