First off, I'm a 30 year old male (31 in a few weeks), and have lost about 100 pounds via Weight Loss Surgery.
No reason to pull punches here...my upper arms are GROSS. I have horrible bat wings. I have a ton of gross flabby skin all over them.
I have researched exercises to help tone and build arms (especially bat wings), and it seems they are all geared towards women.
I need help in my case! My girlfriend's family has a lake house, and she love it there. And I am 100% embarrassed by my arms.
Help me out...please!

I don't have an adequate answer to you plea, but I suggest the you get a long sleeved swimshirt to wear while swimming. You may just say that you are wearing it because you are especially sensitive to the sunlight. I wore one when I started going to an indoor pool because I always felt too cold although the water was 86 degrees. This may not be the solution you are looking for, but it does present a workable solution. Bob
Hey Brock, I have a couple things to say, but they probably aren't going to be much help to you. First of all, I'm 30 years old and will be 31 in a few weeks too. When is your birthday? Are we twins?
Anyhow, I have lost 163 pounds and I have the bat wings too. I didn't look to see when you lost your weight, but with our age and the amount of water we drink, the skin will tighten up to an extent, but not the amount you probably want. Anything you can do to work your upper arms (lifting weights, boxing, etc) will help with the flab. If it is really really really bad, then you may just do whatever you can to hide them just as Bob said......
I feel your pain. I'm embarassed about my elbows and my upper arms too. They look like my grandma's.

Thanks Trent. Nice to know someone out there is in the same boat; although the boat sucks! It wouldn't bother me, except, my girlfriend is a beach bum and expects me to accompany her. Thanks for the advice. Water and exercise, my friend, water and exercise.
You forgot to mention "patience". The boat does suck about the skin and flab, but for me, it is sooo much better than the other boat was at 389 pounds. It was more like a barge.... :-)

I so agree my friend! The boat is only a few hours. We'd be hainging out in t-shirts and stuff all day. And at my old weight, what a chore.
Actually, I'd be pretty surprised if I'd even be dating if I was still my old weight.

I hear ya loud and clear!!!! Just hang in there. You are in a much better position now that you ever were before. We're not dealing with diabetes, heart disease, sleep apnea, or high blood pressure, it's just flab on the arms..... Things could always be worse and if wearing a T-shirt at the lake is as bad as it is, then do it and have a ball!!!!!!
